Djims attended the 2010 African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS) Annual Conference on 25-27 November 2010 in Cairo, Egypt and gave a paper on “IP Law for a Development Trade Agenda” . The conference theme was “The State of Science, Technology and Innovation in Africa: Implications for Achieving the Millennium Development Goals” as ATPS officially released its publication “The African Manifesto for Science, Technology and Innovation” in Cairo. The Manifesto is a multi-disciplinary tool for shaping shared vision around full socialization and democratic governance of STI in Africa as a prerequisite for sustainable development in Africa.
